Studio Policies

Tuition

Tuition for lessons at All About Dance is an annual fee, which is made in 10 monthly installments. The annual fee is based on the total number of hours of study per week. As the number of hours per week increases, the overall hourly rate decreases. The monthly rate is based on the total hours of weekly study for all members of a family who are enrolled.

Each class is guaranteed to meet a minimum of 32 times during the school year. In most cases, the actual number of class sessions over the year is greater. Should any one class meet less than 32 times due to bad weather, etc., make-up classes will be scheduled.

School Policies

You are welcome to stay and watch classes in our waiting rooms…
However, we feel that if you limit your viewing throughout the year, you will definitely see faster progress in the dance development made by your child. To attain dance achievement takes time, no matter the students skill level. To “shortcut” can lead to frustration and discontent in learning upper level skills.

Younger childrens’ levels of concentration and awareness are greater when they are not performing for their parents.

Although it is desirable to be supportive of your child’s efforts in all activities we as adults must be extremely careful of falling into the “little league syndrome”-subconsciously expecting and demanding more from our children than they are physically and mentally capable of performing.

Every trimester we have one week set aside as PARENT WATCH WEEK. This is when you may view the class from inside the dance room. Everyone is invited, but we do ask that small children remain seated with an adult as not to disrupt the class.

Please check the calendar for dates and times.

Miscellaneous Information

Please do not leave small children unattended to wander out onto the dance floor.

Students should remain in the waiting room until the instructor calls them for class. No playing on the equipment until class time.

Only members of our studio in the dance room please!

No communication between parents and students during class. (No coaching from the sidelines.) Your children are in the hands of knowledgeable professionals.

Please be prompt in picking up children from class. You must pick them up inside, not outside!

For their safety, please no children playing outside in the parking lot.

PARENTS, PLEASE HELP US ENFORCE THESE POLICIES!!
